Cloning this repository:

git clone git://gitorious.org/emacs/emacs.git emacs
cd emacs

Add this repository as a remote to an existing local repository:

git remote add emacs git://gitorious.org/emacs/emacs.git
git fetch emacs
git checkout -b my-local-tracking-branch emacs/master_or_other_branch
