ETangoCards
It’s a free and fresh flash cards aplication for the Gnome desktop. A flash
card is any of a set of cards bearing information, a
words or numbers, on either or both sides, used in
classroom drills or in private study. One writes a
question on a card and an answer overleaf. Flashcards can
bear vocabulary, historical dates, formulas or any
subject matter that can be learned via a question and
answer format.
Flashcards are widely used as a learning
drill to aid memorization by way of spaced repetition.
In addtion, the users tested their knowleged with the
quiz. The GTK+’s library is widely used for this
aplication, and others GNOME’s libraries as Pango,
libxml2, their bindings for C++, Gtkmm, libxml++, Glibmm, …
The language used is C++ with OO.
This project will try to be compatible with others flash
card projects, but ETango Cards will be different. Will be
cutier and funnier than others.
