RPM files

The Sofia-SIP package contains an example spec-file that can be used to create RPM packages for various distributions, or as a base for creating a new distribution specific spec-file.

DEB files

As of June 2006, the Debian packaging files for sofia-sip are maintained by the Debian pkg-voip project. Please see the pkg-voip README file for more instructions. See the Debian pkg-voip team page.

The procedure is similar for other Sofia-SIP packages as well.
